Thank you for visiting this site first all. I acquired this domain aMovieAday.com back in 2006. I have always wanted to put up a site of some kind for one of my passions - movies. Due to my lack of internet skills, however, my plan has been put off again and again until just a few months ago. My dear dear friend Mark came over for a visit, and we talked about sorts, then we turned our chats into internet. I told him about my domain and my plan, and he thought it's a great domain and I should utilize the domain asap. But I told him of my uselessness with the internet language and coding. He told me that there isn't really much to set up a website and he'd set up a site for me for free within 30 minutes (i have to pay for the hosting space of course), and he did. So here's the site.

I know it's not as good looking as many other sites, but it does what I require it to, and that's really what I want.

To show my appreciation to him for setting up the site as well as teaching me many useful stuff about the internet in general, I bought him one of these Seiko Automatic Watches.

I know it's not much, but his help was timely and time is of the essence. Thank you again, Mark.

Short sale is a term that i don't know really well, so i took some time and looked it up on the internet. According to Wikipedia, there're two definitions for short sale. The first one is the seller does not own a security that he or she sells. The second one is used in real estate. The definition is as follows:

A short sale is a sale of real estate in which the sale proceeds fall short of the balance owed on the property's loan.It often occurs when a borrower cannot pay the mortgage loan on their property, but the lender decides that selling the property at a moderate loss is better than pressing the borrower. Both parties consent to the short sale process, because it allows them to avoid foreclosure, which involves hefty fees for the bank and poorer credit report outcomes for the borrowers. This agreement, however, does not necessarily release the borrower from the obligation to pay the remaining balance of the loan, known as the deficiency.

Robert Pattinson to Play Kurt Cobain for David Fincher!?

What would Friday be without some ridiculously bizarre casting rumor from Britain's The Sun? They claim Robert Pattinson has landed the role of rock legend (and Nirvana frontman) Kurt Cobain in a Universal Pictures' biopic that's currently running with the working title All Apologies. They say Pattinson was Courtney Love's choice -- who only agreed to the film under the condition that she would get to make the big decisions with regards to casting, director, screenplay and music -- and that the two have been chatting about it non-stop. Furthermore, The Sun says Love wants Scarlett Johansson to play her and -- wait for it --- David Fincher to direct the thing. I'll give you a minute to catch your breath ...

Considering the source -- as well as the fact that The Sun has been known to completely make up rumors out of thin air -- I wouldn't immediately freak out and curse the heavens. However, there might be some truth wedged in here, like Courtney Love's demanding that she oversee the major parts of production -- and there's even a chance that, yes, she wants Pattinson to play her former husband, as well as Johansson to portray her. And though it would be an incredibly risky move to cast Pattinson in a role like this (I'd prefer they go with an unknown), I could see the studio getting behind that kind of choice. And heck, who wouldn't want to see Scar-Jo finally take on a role that demands more from her than just window dressing?

Fincher directing is a little out of left field -- and he's apparently already lined up to helm an adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo in the fall -- but I wouldn't have expected him to take on the Facebook movie, so him deciding to direct a Cobain biopic wouldn't exactly floor me.

What do you think? Does Pattinson have the chops for this? Would Johansson make Love look a little less strung out? And could Fincher make this an awards contender?
